"After debuting in Reading the previous evening, CZW was prepared to put on a stellar show in front of a hot crowd in Viking Hall, the CZW Arena. What went down during this night of Retribution? Did Teddy Hart show up for some retribution of his own? What were Trent Acid’s motives for being in Reading, PA the previous night? Would any championships change hands in the huge title matches that Zandig had booked? All that and much more was answered, and retribution was definitely received by all who sought it!

To begin the show, Zandig booked a tag team gauntlet match for the Tag Team Championships. The first two teams were CKNY and DJ Hyde and Merc. CKNY hit the ring in a connecting body suit, mocking the big man, DJ Hyde. After CKNY came to the ring, Hyde ran down to the ring pissed off. With a surprise attack however, Jude nailed Hyde with a chair to the head and knocked him out, leaving Merc to take on CKNY by himself. After a few minutes, this was no problem for Young and Kastle, as they got a three count on Merc. Coming down to the ring next was the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. After backdropping Cory Kastle over the top rope and out of the ring, DRS took on Niles Young with a two on one assault. DRS hit Young with their new finisher, a variation of a double team piledriver. After they got a three count, DRS started to act cocky inside the ring. There were two men in the back that did not like this whatsoever. These men? Nick F’N Gage and Nate Hatred! The H8 Club stormed to the ring and completely dominated DRS. Nick Gage took out one member with a few chair shots to the head on the outside. Inside the ring, Nate Hatred tore it up with a clothesline and a huge chokeslam for a three count. This brought out the champions, Rebel’s Army. Rebel and Frazier came down to the ring and hit Hatred with a surprise attack from behind. In no time though, this was an even match, however, giving the H8 Club the edge was the presence of Rob Hartog. Hartog came into the ring and speared Rockin Rebel, proceeding to spit on him. Rebel was quick to get to his feet, and he chased Hartog into the back, leaving Frazier along with the Hate. This was just what Hatred and Gage needed to take back their Tag gold. Gage and Hatred took Frazier to the stage, where they set up two tables stacked on top of each other. Hatred put Frazier on the tables, as Gage went to the announcer’s part of the stage. From the top of the stage, Nick Gage hit Derek Frazier with a senton through the tables! This was more than enough to get the H8 Club the victory, and also, to crown them the new CZW Tag Team Champions!!

Following the match, Rockin Rebel showed that he was not happy at all, saying that he was going to kick Hartog’s ass later on the evening in the boxing match.

The next match of the show saw the debut of BJ Whitmer, as he took on Jimmy Jacobs. Jacobs came down to the ring very unhappy, almost as if a part of himself was missing (his manager, Becky Bayless, who was abductedf by Robby Mireno last month). This match was an excellent beginning match because it immediatley put the crowd on the edge of their seat. Through the duration of the match, Whitmer used his obvious height advantage in his favor to dominate Jimmy Jacobs with some stiff moves, such as a nasty powerbomb onto the edge of the guard rail! Jimmy Jacobs, throughout the beginning of the match, still seemed a little lost without his lovely manager at ringside. However, midway into the match, Becky Bayless came running down to the ring to cheer on her man. This seemed to give Jacobs a second wind in the match. He was able to power out of the headlock that Whitmer had him locked in, and he finally reversed a move of Whitmer's to gain some offense of his own. Jacobs then tried a few quick moves to get a pinfall of his own, but only amounted to two counts. Jacobs took Whitmer to the corner and tried his finisher, but Whitmer reversed this and hit Jacobs with a suplex of his own. Whitmer tried for a pinfall, sticking his legs on the middle rope for some extra leverage. Bayless pushed Whitmer’s feet off, allowing Jacobs to kick out of the pin. This didn’t please BJ Whitmer in the least. Whitmer pulled Becky Bayless into the ring by her hair, and threw her into the corner of the ring. Bayless nailed him with a slap however, and came running out of the corner, hitting Whitmer with a spinning DDT. Jacobs saw this and gained some momentum of his own, running into the corner, as he began to stomp his foot. Jacobs booted Whitmer in the face as the crowd inched closer to the edge of their seat, but this boost of momentum only amounted to a two count. Whitmer was right to his feet following this however, as he showed that it was going to take more than that to keep him out of commission. Whitmer attempted to powerbomb Jimmy Jacobs from the top turnbuckle, but Jacobs turned it into a super-standing hurricarana. Still, Jacobs only got a two count! The crowd couldn't seem to believe it. Picking Whitmer up one more time, Jacobs tried to put him into another suplex, but Whitmer reversed it into a suplex of his own, this time, catching Jacobs off guard with a quick roll-up for a three count! BJ Whitmer left the ring proud following this victory, knowing that with a nice victory like the one he just obtained, the boss must be impressed. After Whitmer went to the back, Jacobs and Becky stood in the middle of the ring and embraced each other as the crowd gave Jacobs a nice ovation.

Before Dennis Shock could announce the next match, “The New Game” Trent Acid walked through the front door and put the crowd on their feet in ovation. Acid came into the ring and grabbed a mic. Acid said that he was at the bar last night, Club 1402, and saw some tape of some guy saying that CZW has no talent, that he was the best in the wrestling biz, etc. etc. Acid then went outside the ring and asked a few fans to read aloud what the plaque said. The plaque said: Trent Acid, CZW’s best wrestler of the year. Zandig then interrupted Acid’s bullshit to ask him why he left in the first place, if he thought he was the best. No “best wrestler of the year” walks out of a company. No “best wrestler of the year” just gives up on life when it doesn’t give him what he wants. Zandig said if he wants to be known as the “best”, prove it. This prompted Teddy Hart to walk down to the ring for some words. The crowd also warmly welcomed Hart back as well. Hart entered the ring and looked at Trent Acid, saying that he was the best, that this was the year of Teddy Hart, and no one was going to stand in the way of that. All three men stood inside the ring staring at each other with fury in each man’s eyes. Zandig said that he is a man of many chances, and he proceeded to ask the fans if they wanted Trent Acid back in CZW. The response was overwhelming in the favor of Acid’s return. With that, Zandig booked Acid to take on Teddy Hart later in the evening. Acid came back on the mic and said if he doesn’t beat Teddy Hart later tonight, he would never work for CZW again! That was how strongly he felt about his victory tonight.

Following that confrontation in the ring, Dennis Shock came back to announce the next match of the show: Grim Reefer vs. Nick Berk vs. Chri$ Ca$h. Ca$h came down to the ring last, looking like he was ready to put on a great match. This three way began with back and forth pinfalls, and a lot of aggression from each man. After Berk pulled Reefer outside the ring, Ca$h took some offense and splashed out to the outside onto both men. Reefer then used the guard rail against Chri$ Ca$h, slamming his back against it repeatedly. This kept Ca$h down long enough for him to be able to nail Ca$h with a frogsplash from the top rope to the floor. The round popped nicely for this. Inside the ring, Berk played dead as Reefer climbed back into the ring looking to capitalize on the situation. Reefer bounced against the ropes, and Berk sprung back to his feet, tripping Reefer and locking him in a STF. On the outside, Chri$ Ca$h was back to his feet where he set up a chair concoction near the entrance way. Meanwhile, in the ring, Berk nailed Reefer with three underhook german suplexes for a two count. Reefer also looked determined. By this time, Ca$h was back in the ring, and he brought a ladder with him. Ca$h set the ladder up in the corner, as he attempted to Cash Flo Berk to the outside onto the chair concoction. However, Berk got back in the ring and got on the top turnbuckle. Grim Reefer pushed Nick Berk off the top rope, and onto the chair set up on the outside. This left Reefer and Ca$h in the ring for the last leg of the match. The Grim Reefer tried to get the crowd behind him as began to climb the ladder in the corner, but the crowd was more excited that Chir$ Ca$h was beginning to chase Reefer up the ladder. Close to the top of the ladder, Ca$h grabbed Reefer and "marked out" on him off the ladder for a three count! The crowd gave the men a nice ovation for their efforts in this match, as Retribution continues strongly.

Next, Robby Mireno’s men came down to the ring as Mireno got on the mic for a prematch interview. He proceeded to announce the members of his group: the “Black Jesus” Sabian, the “Trifeasauras Rex” Ruckus, “Bam Bam Niggelow” Joker, and himself, “Hacksaw Jim Thuggin” “Primo” Robby Mireno. Following this lovely intro from the black white man, Robby Mireno, Jon Dahmer came down to the ring with Big Mac Smack for his first round Xtreme Strong Style match where chairs and tables are legal! This match started off with three or four test of strengths, followed by some very stiff kicks to the face of Joker, from Jon Dahmer. Joker then wore down the maniac with some ground submissions, but Jon Dahmer nailed a hard underhook suplex on Joker for a two count. He followed this up with a tight camel clutch in the middle of the ring. Both men prepared a very stiff, submissive game plan it seemed. Right at about this time, Mireno and the posse injected themselves into the match on behalf of Joker. Dahmer went outside the ring where a huge war burst out. Dahmer tried taking on Ruckus and Sabian by himself, but it was too difficult. Mac Smack ran around to that side of the ring and helped his man, allowing Dahmer to get back inside the ring. Not long after that, Dahmer was back on the floor, and Joker attempted to splash onto him from the apron. This backfired when Dahmer caught Joker in midair and slammed him on the ringside floor. The two men took the match back into the ring where Joker locked a laying leglock onto the head of a standing Jon Dahmer. Damer tried to break it by pulling Joker up and powerbombing him, but to no avail. Dahmer tried this again, but he only got weaker after exerting so much energy. Big Mac Smack tried to motivate Dahmer, but this was ended when Mireno, Ruckus, and Sabian jumped Smack from behind. Dahmer finally collapsed in the ring, and as it looked like he was going to be declared unconscious, Wifebeater ran down to the ring and started kicking and punching Joker to get him to break the hold. The ref however called for the bell, giving Joker the win in this match due to disqualification on the part of Jon Dahmer.

The next match of the evening was a eight man Chikara match involving Mike Quackenbush, Mr. Zero, Gran Akuma, and Icarus against Hallowicked, Ultramantis, and The Wild Cards. This match was back and forth, tags occurring every minute between both teams for a good portion of the match. This entire match kept the crowd on its feet from start to end with a lot of high flying action back and forth. Midway into the match, Mike Quackenbush made the tag into Mister Zero, who came in and played games with the minds of one of the members of the Wild Card, sitting on him and reading a newspaper as if the Wild Card member was a toilet. However, this didn’t last long, and the Wild Cards, along with Hallowicked kept the advantage in the match until Gran Akuma nailed one of the members of the Wild Cards with a wicked roll through powerbomb from the top turnbuckle.

Next up, the “Anarchist” Arik Cannon was set to take on Dan Maff. Surprisingly enough, Cannon was able to hold his own in the beginning of this match, despite the obvious height advantage between both men. It didn’t take long for Maff to show who’s boss, as he clotheslined Arik Cannon over the top rope. Finally after a lot of lockups and submissions, Maff reversed an Irish whip from Arik Cannon and turned the match into his favor, nailing a few boots to the face, and two very nice underhook german suplexes for two counts. Arik Cannon fought for his life against Mafia though, hitting Maff with a german suplex and a stiff eziguri to the back of the head. This wasn’t enough to keep Dan Maff down though. Maff put Cannon up in the torture rack position, but from there, DVDed Arik Cannon to receove a three count in this match.

The seventh match of the event witnessed Sonjay Dutt defend his Junior Heavyweight Championship against Roderick Strong and Petey Williams. This Jr. Heavyeight title defense began with an exchange of pinfalls, followed by some headlocks and some quick take downs. Williams and Strong began to take the match to the outside, and Strong threw Williams over the guard rail into the crowd. Sonjay got on the apron and moonsaulted over the guard rail onto both men. After a few minutes, the match was taken back inside the ring where Strong got stiff with Petey Williams and threw him into the turnbuckle. Williams got right back up though and locked a sharpshooter on Roderick Strong. Sonjay Dutt came running across the ring however and hurricaraned Petey Williams for a two count. Roderick Strong then hit Sonjay with an unexpecting backbreaker for a two count. Sonjay was right back to his feet and snap suplexed Petey Williams near the corner. Sonjay hit Williams with a Bollywood Splash from the top rope, but Strong broke up the count at two. Strong then picked Sonjay up and placed him backwards on the top turnbuckle. Strong stood Sonjay up and hit him with a spinning diamond cutter from the top rope for a two count, broken up by Petey Williams. Sonjay got up however, and after dropkicking Roderick Strong over the top rope, he tossed Petey Williams over his head and spiked him on his head, locking his legs into a three count before Rodeick Strong had the time to break up the pinfall. After the match, Sonjay Dutt picked up a mic and said that now he had taken care of the business of Williams and Strong, he had more business to take care of. He said that his belt is still missing, and he is tired of the antics going on around here. He demanded that whoever stole his belt to come out to the ring and confront him man to man. Suddenly, the lights were cut, and all that was heard was a stiff chairshot. The lights were then turned back on and Sonjay was left laying in the middle of the ring, unconscious and still beltless. Who is this mysterious man taunting Sonay Dutt? Hopefully we can find out at the next CZW events!!

During the intermission, it was announced that the next CZW events would take place on April 30th in Allentown, PA in the Moutainville Center and on May 1st in Philadelphia in Viking Hall. Also, during intermission, tickets were sold for Best of the Best 4, which will happen in July of 2004.

Upon returning from intermission, the next match in the show was a special boxing match between Rockin Rebel and Rob Hartog. This match was scheduled to be 6 rounds, at two minutes each. Rebel started the match by keeping Hartog in the corner with a lot of body shots. In the first round, Rebel knocked Hartog down twice. At the beginning of the second roung, Doomsday Danny Rose tried to interfere from the apron, and as he held Hartog, Rebel took a swing, but accidentally hit Rose in the jaw. This allowed Hartog the advantage to get a knockdown on Rebel, and seconds later, another knockdown to end the second round. At the beginning of the third round, Hartog pulled Rebel’s shorts over his stomach and nailed him with a few body shots. Rebel complained that he hit him with some low blows, but Mike Kehner didn’t buy this, and pulled Rebel’s pants down to his ankles, allowing Hartog to gain a huge advantage. In the fifth round, Hartog knocked Rebel out with a few punches to the face. After a few seconds into the last round, the H8 Club’s theme music played and Nick Gage and the Wifebeater came out to end this shit. Gage and Beater nailed Rebel and Hartog with some chair shots and cleared the ring. The crowd started to chant ‘thank you’ quite loudly. Zandig then came to the ring and said that this boxing shit is an f’n joke, give it up for CZW WRESTLING!

The next match of the show was a tag team match between Ruckus and Sabian and All Money Is Legal. The match started as a scramble, as there were no set legal men. Sabian and K Pusha were fighting in the ring, and Sabian splashed to the outside onto Ruckus and K Murda. K Pusha then splashed out onto Sabian, and Ruckus razzle-dazzled out onto all three of them. Back in the ring, Sabian and Ruckus double teamed K Pusha, and Ruckus did a standing moonsault onto K Murda. From here, Ruckus and Sabian continued to dominate the match, not giving AMIL any advantage of offense whatsoever. Finally, AMIL started to work as a team, focusing on one man at a time. However, the pace of the match changed again when Robby Mireno slid some chairs into the ring. It looked as if Ruckus and Sabian were going to gain a cheap win, but AMIL didn’t give up that easily. Ruckus attempted a vertical suplex on K Murda, but K Murda turned it around into a neckbreaker on the seat of the chair. K Pusha then locked a Boston Crab onto Sabian on the top rope, but an unknown man of Mireno’s posse interjected into the match and helped Sabian and Ruckus. This guy hit K Pusha with a Joker Driver, while Ruckus stood on two adjacent chairs with the fatigued body of K Murda. Ruckus tiger drivered K Murda onto the two chairs, getting a three count for his team. After the match, AMIL was congradulated for a good match from Ruckus and Sabian. However, just when they weren’t expecting it, Ruckus and Sabian turned around and clotheslined AMIL, laughing in their faces as they left the ring.

In a non-title match, the “Savior of CZW” took on the Ironman Champion, Jimmy Rave. After coming to the ring, Hero got on the mic and said that it seemed awfully convenient that he was booked in a non-title match in a match where the champion was expected to lose. Jimmy Rave, who successfully defended his Ironman Championship last night against Joker, came to the ring to get this match started. Hero started this match by using his height to take down Rave with some armbars. After some back and forth techincal wrestling, Jimmy Rave got a second wind and kicked Chris Hero in the stomach, allowing him to suplex hero for a two count. Hero took Rave to the corner however, and from the top turnbuckle, Hero suplexed Rave for a two count. Hero then put Rave against the ropes for some chops, and after attempting to hit him a clothesline, Rave ducked, and popped up a second later, nailing Chris Hero with some sweet chin music. Moments later, as Hero was sitting on the mat, Rave bounced off the ropes and knocked Hero out with a knee to the face. This was enough for Rave to get a three count on the “Savior” in this technical clinic. After the match, Chris Hero seemed a little pissed off. He suplexed Jimmy Rave to the mat, and locked him into an STF. After the refs broke it up, Hero got on the mic and told Rave that he got lucky, and that he sure as hell was not an “Ironman”.

The eleventh match of Retribution was The Wifebeater versus Adam Flash. This war has been brewing since the end of last year, and both men were eager to kill each other. Beater wasted no time in beginning this match, working Flash over with a powerslam, followed up by a punch to the groin. Flash then put Beater on the rope, where he knocked him to the outside with a kick to the face. Beater and Mac Smack walked around the ring, but Flash splashed out onto both men. Flash and WB fought on the outside for a few minutes. Adam Flash then went to the other side of the ring and grabbed a trash can. Upon returning to Beater, Beater kicked him in the gut and stole the trash can from Flash. Beater then proceeded to slam away at Flash’s head with that trash can, cracking the exterior of the can. Beater continued to hack away at Flash with that trash can, until he was basically senseless. Flash however, had enough sense to keep fighting, as he revsered Beater’s suplex and turned it into some positive offense of his own. Flash gave Beater a wedgie and pulled Wifebeater’s underwear off over his head. Flash then grabbed the staple gun out of Wifebeater’s back pocket and began to staple Wifebeater’s underwear to his head. After about six staples, he decided it was enough and began to hack away at WB’s head with a chair. Flash took Wifebeater to the corner, and sat him on the turnbuckle. Suddenly, Ian Knoxx came running down to the ring and helped Beater gain the upper hand over Adam Flash. Ian Knoxx cracked Flash in the back with a chair, allowing Beater to perform his finisher for the three count.

Finally, it was time for the main event of the evening. Teddy Hart was pitted to take on “The New Game” Trent Acid. The stipulations were simple. If Trent Acid lost, he would never wrestle in CZW again. At the beginning of this match, the crowd was divided almost evenly between “Let’s Go Acid” and Let’s Go Teddy” chants. These chants lasted a good three minutes without end, back and forth, back and forth. You could fully tell that the crowd was into this match, and were anticipating it all night long. Finally, both men locked up, and it was Teddy who gained the advantage, who gained a one count on Acid. Acid however locked on an armbar, but finally Teddy Hart got to the rope. Afterwards, Trent Acid slid out onto the ringside floor and grabbed a fan’s water. After taking a sip, he threw the water at Hart, who was still in the ring. This pissed the hell out of Teddy Hart, as he loked on with fury in his eyes. The back and forth chants began again, as the crowd was very split between the two men in this match. Finally, the match really started up, and in the favor of Trent Acid, after he surprised Hart with a stiff kick to the face, followed up by a spinning DDT. After getting to his feet, Acid again humiliated Hart with a punch to the jaw, knocking him on his ass. A little pissed off, Teddy Hart left the ring and walked around the ring for a few minutes. Finally though, both men agreed to get back in the ring and actually wrestle, rather than taunt at each other. Upon getting back into the ring, Teddy did what he does well, and cheap-shotted Acid by throwing a chair at his skull. He then got back in the ring and placed the same chair on the head of Acid. Hart went to the top turnbuckle and moonsaulted onto Acid, embedding the chair into his face. Hart went to the top once more and did a 640 onto Trent Acid for a two count. Hart looked a little surprise that the "quitter" didn't quit already. Teddy began to taunt Trent, kicking his head and forcing him back onto the ground. Hart tried for a cocky pinfall, placing his foot onto Acid’s chest for a one count. Acid attempted to get up once again, but just as he was close to being on his feet, Hart headbutted him back down to the mat. Teddy Hart decided to pick up Trent Acid and spike him on his head from behind. Hart set up Acid in the corner again, and from the top turnbuckle, Teddy Hart hit Trent Acid with a backwards, twisting 640. Teddy Hart then called for the mic once more. He directed his view towards Zandig, who was sitting ringside, and pointed ,saying “He’s done”. Zandig grabbed the mic and told Trent to get up and “kill this motherf*cker”. Hart got outside the ring and stared down Zandig, but Zandig didn’t budge, but simply pointed Hart to get back in the ring unless he wanted to die. Hart obeyed as he was told, in fear of taking a shot that would cost him another 140 stitches. At this time, Acid was back up and full of fight. Grabbing each other by the throats, Acid and Hart took the match out of the ring, over the guard rail, and into the streets surrounding Viking Hall. Outside of the Arena, Teddy Hart and Trent Acid battled into the street where a Grand Prix GT was parked. Hart and Acid got on top of the car, while a few fans set up a table next to the car. Fans were swarming outside, and made a circle around Hart and Acid, who were now holding up traffic on Ritner Street. Hart and Acid, who were now on the top of this white grand prix, exchanged back and forth punches, but Hart took the advantage and put Acid up for a powerbomb. From the top of the car, Hart powerbombed Acid through the table and onto the hard concrete!! After Ref Brian Logan refused to give Hart a pinfall count, Hart told the fans to get back in the building, as he carried Acid back into Viking Hall. Once in the ring, Teddy covered Trent, but only for a two count!! Hart couldn't believe it, as he continued to taunt Acid by picking him up and slapping him around. Teddy turned his back on Acid for two seconds, but this was enough time for Acid to put out one last effort of hope. Acid ran across the ring and Yakuza kicked Teddy Hart, but still, only a two count was had!!! As if the crowd wasn't wild enough, the building gave a huge mixture of applause and booing. Teddy Hart then set up a chair in the middle of the ring and powerbombed Acid on top of it, yet, only getting two again! There was a ton of fight within both of these men. Following this, Teddy grabbed the chair from the mat and prepared to crack Trent Acid in the head with it. Zandig wasn't going to allow "Mr. Wonderful" Teddy Hart to win this match cheaply, so he climbed into the ring at this time and grabbed the chair. Teddy Hart got on his knees covered his head in fear of Zandig cracking him, but when he didn’t, Hart stood back up and Zandig tossed the chair back to him. Hart turned around and got completely derailed with an unexpected Yakuza Kick. Trent Acid rolled Teddy Hart up and gained a quick three count for the victory!!! After the match, Zandig got in Hart’s face on the ground and said that this isn’t Canada, and he runs the show around here. Afterwards, Zandig told the crowd to give it up for Trent Acid. After they left for the back, Teddy Hart got a nice standing ovation as this show came to a close.

What will happen on the weekend of April 30th and May 1st when CZW runs their next scheduled events in Allentown and Philadelphia? Will Teddy Hart be there to pay Zandig and Acid back? Will Sonjay find out who stole his title and assaulted him with that chair? Will we finally see some honor put back in the Tag Team titles? What will Chris Hero have to say about being "cheated" out of the Ironman title? Will anyone step up to stop this raging group of men that Robby Mireno is leading? Will impressive standouts such as BJ Whitmer and Danny Maff be back next month? And finally, what does SABU have planned for his United States CZW debut on May 1st!? There are so many questions to be answered in the next four weeks! Remember to keep checking back to CZWWrestling.com to find out the answers to all of these, plus so much more!! Also, don’t forget to purchase your copy of Dub 1402 and Retribution when they become on-sale at SmartMarkvideo.com in a few days!"
