Dear Freestyler dmx developers!
I would like to know if the Velleman Kit 8062 will be supported?
This is an usb - dmx converter and I think it will work Fine!

I bought it today and assembled it.

The free software included with the kits works!

But when I use freestyler it doesn't do a thing.

What can be the problem?

For the people those have problems with using the k8062:

After a long search:

Place 3 files named  Fasttime32.dll, k8062d.dll, k8062e.exe in the tree \windows and \windows\system

The k8062e.exe is important. At the fs setup the other two files will be copied on the hd.
You can find these files on the included cd in the tree dmxdemo.

The price here in Belgium is 79,90 euro (including 21% VAT).

Question to Magic ... What interface do you need to choose in the Freestyle setup for use with the K8062? Do all 3 files to be copied in the \windows and the \windows\system folder?

Je kunt de k8062 kiezen uit de lijst met interfaces. Als deze er bij jouw niet bij staat moet je even Freestyler updaten naar de nieuwe versie.

Ik denk dat je alleen het exe bestand moet plaatsen naar de windows/system map.

Foutje van Raphaël denk ik, het bestand k8062.dll wordt namelijk wel in de windows map gezet tijdens de installatie.

Dank je voor de informatie betreffende de update. Ik had hem gedownload maar niet geinstalleerd. Dus nu zie ik inderdaad de Velleman in de lijst van de interfaces.
