Il n'y a pas de précision sur le plan concernant la porte de la grande chambre, mais j'imagine mal les officiers laisser les manants regarder ce qui se passe en chambre, donc pour moi: pas de vitre  ;)

There is nothing on the plans about the door for the wardroom but I wouldn't think that the officers let the crew look at what was going on in the wardroom.  So in my opinion .... no glass.

hello Jean-Paul, pour l'orientation de l'échelle celle-ci n'est pas encore fixée, elle à été posée pour la photo, l'entrée sera donc sur tribord.
Quant à la porte de la chambre du conseil je suis tout à fait d'accord avec Armand

In regard to the orientaion of the ladder, it has been placed only for the photo.  Access will be from the starboard side.

As usual your work is first class. Just a thought...how about using glass/ perspex on the deck so that the living quarters below would be visible?

Juste une remarque. Je n'ai pas vu sur le grand panneau du pont les orifices qui permettent de passer les cables d'ancres, comme l'a expliqué GD dans le topic "accastillage" au chapitre "passage des cables d'ancres". Je crois d'ailleurs que vous allez avoir quelques difficultés pour les ranger sur le faux-pont.

I did not notice a openning for the cables in the hatch.  GD explained it in the topic "fittings" .  I think that you will have a hard time storing them on the orlop-deck.

Comme le conseille GD j'ai préféré garder l'étanchéité en mer et donc ne pas faire de passage pour les cables d'ancres.
D'autre part pour rentrer le cable en utilisant une tournevire, il possible de le faire passer par l'écoutille avant (n°9).

As GD suggested, I opted to waterproof the deck, so I did not cut a passage for the cables.
The cables can be operated though the forward hatch (#9).

Esthétiquement sur un modèle, vaut-il mieux laisser les portes, les panneaux, les écoutilles, etc.. ouverts ou fermés? Quels sont vos avis sur ce sujet.
