Very nice.  I can not wait to take my model from the storage (one of the few minuses of moving from Ohio to Connecticut).

voici le Rhône à ce jour.



Pas de travail dessus cette semaine pour cause de d'activité dans l'autre arsenal à Toulon.

 

Toujours aussi magnifique travail, Marcel.

Et puis çà me sert de programme dans ce que j'ai bientôt à faire côté proue

Si je peux me permettre, j'admire les portes des chambres fonctionnelles, par contre il me semble qu'il manque la gouttière inversée à leur niveau

Les caillebottis sont d'excellente facture.
Quel outil avez-vous utilisé, scie circulaire, fraiseuse ...?
Le problème que l'on rencontre en général est de trouver un outil ayant exactement l'épaisseur de la maille.

The problem is usually in finding a tool that has a thickness corresponding exactly to the size of the opening.

J'ai utilisé la scie circulaire avec une lame de 1 mm d'épaisseur achetée chez Otelo.

je n'ai pas vu le rouleau de papier toilette dans les poulaines,
mais peut être n'était t'il réservé qu' aux officiers dans les bouteilles.

I could not see a roll of toilet paper near the seats of ease.  Maybe it was only used in the quarter gallery's facility.

A l'époque, je ne crois pas qu'il y avait de rouleau papier WC, mais "on" fonctionnait encore avec le seau d'eau  ;)

Arthur Molle say that at the time a rope was lowered from the head toward the water.  The lower end of the rope was unwrapped to wash.

Pour l'orientation de la grande échelle, est-ce une particularité du Rhône? Sur le GV la porte du capot est à tribord.
Je note également que la porte à double battant donnant sur la grande chambre n'est pas vitrée (il n'y a d'ailleurs aucune précision à ce sujet sur le plan),peut-on envisager les deux solutions, vitres ou pas vitres?

As far as the orientation of the ladder, is it particular to "Le Rhone"?  On GV the door to the hood is on the starboard side.
I also note that the double door to the wardroom is not glassed (there is no idication on the plans).  Can we contemplate both: glass or no glass?
