J'en suis au point de prendre une décision quant aux couples à découper (voir mes photos).  Pourquoi ne pas retirer tous les couples dans la partie ouverte, laissant simplement les porques en place (#8, 18, 28, 38 etc....).
Est ce que cela réduirait la solidité de la coque?

J'ai laissé des couples en place pour assurer la solidité de la coque. Mais on peut en réduire le nombre sans problème, comme j'avais réalisé les porques je ne voulais plus les supprimer, c'est pour cette unique raison que certains couples sont présents en plus des couples de levée. La latte à l'intérieur tiens les baux du faux pont.
Sur votre modèle, vous pouvez, si vous voulez, enlever tous les couples, la coque étant bien maintenue en haut et en bas, celle-ci ne risquera rien.

I left the frames in place to keep the structure strengthened but the number can be reduced. I already had made the riders and I did not want to take them out.  That is why some of the frames have been left in place besides the station frames.  The inside batten holds the orlop deck.

If you want, You can take all the frames off from your model since the hull is held together at the top and bottom.  It should not be a problem.

Thanks Jean-Paul. I'm waiting for Gilles to translate back into English to see how good my French is. I think you said that the frames could all be removed without threatening the structure, but I want to make sure.
