J'ai du mal à comprendre sur quoi s'appuie le bau du coltis (celui qui se trouve entre le pont et le gaillard). Etant donné que la muraille est presque verticale à cet endroit, soit, il faut entailler le vaigrage pour encastrer le bau soit, il faut disposer une cale au dessous. Quelqu'un a-t-il une réponse ?

I am having trouble figuring out where the collor-beam rests (the beam located between the main deck and the forecastle deck). Given that the ship's wall is almost vertical in this area, the inner-planking must be notched to fit the beam or, a support block must be installed under it.  Any ideas?

Il repose sur le vaigrage qui est suffisamment en pente à cet endroit pour le soutenir et il est maintenu pas ses courbes.

It rests agaisnt the inner planking which is angled enough at this spot to hold it in place.  It is also held by its knees.
